"Americana" refers to items that are in someway related to the history, geography, folklore and culture of the United States. Patriotism and nostalgia play a defining role of "Americana".


Barley Twist Wood Turning

Barley Twist is an exceptionally old style of furniture leg characterized by its "twisted rope" appearance. Originating in India and thriving in Europe and England during the 1660's to 1730's, it was revived in the Mid 19th Century in Empire and Federal Pieces.
